Earth Tone Series
The Salyers Percussion Earth Tone Series drew its inspiration from the warm sounds of natural wood and metallic instruments. The yarn wrapped models, ET10-ET50, feature natural birch mallets, 100% soft wool yarn and round rubber cores that create warm and rich organic tones. ET60 -ET100 are on rattan, have oval rubber cores and are wrapped in a super durable hemp cord. The Hemp allows these mallets to have a big fundamental tone and the unmistakable sound of a hemp cord wrap. These hemp wrapped mallets are also available on a birch shaft as models ET10B - ET100B
ET10
The Earth Tone Series ET10 soft yarn mallet works great for low end legato playing. The natural birch shafts offer superior control to the performer.
ET20
The Earth Tone Series ET20 medium soft yarn mallet works great for any legato playing, transcriptions or chorales. The natural birch shafts offer superior control to the performer.
ET30
The Earth Tone Series ET30 medium yarn mallet works well as a legato for the alto voice. The attack is round and warm yet defined and not blurry. The natural birch shafts offer superior control to the performer.
ET40
The Earth Tone Series ET40 medium hard yarn mallet works well as a legato mallet for the upper range of the marimba. This mallet is just hard enough to speak clearly on the upper range with a warm fundamental tone. The natural birch shafts offer superior control to the performer.
ET50
The Earth Tone Series ET50 hard yarn mallet is the hardest in the series. It works great for when you need a little sparkle to your tone. The natural birch shafts offer superior control to the performer.
ET60
